The Cultural Village project is located on the eastern coastline of central Doha. The project comprises 227 uniquely designed villas within a new housing development, with no two villas of the same design.
The concept design stage design for the villas required the carrying out of site analysis for each villa plot separately and coordinating the location of that plot in relation to prominent views, views to and from adjacent plots prevailing wind direction, grades and levels and site accessibility.
Insite Architects were invited by G.H.D. International to prepare designs including fully developed plans, elevations, landscaping and graphics for several of the villas. The villas range in size from 500m² to 1500m² and are selling for between AUD$5 – 12 million each. The project is intended to be completed within the next 3 to 4 years.
