The built environment is the most visible representation of a community's identity. Ideally, these facilities help maximise efficiency while also reflecting the essential character of the community. Architecture should be bold enough to indicate strength and leadership, yet practical enough to serve multiple functions. Whether clients wish to emphasise the best character of an existing structure or create a new facility, we can help develop and execute a plan on time and on budget.
Insite partners with our government clients to create places important in meeting the fundamental needs of society. Our aim is to create facilities that are efficient and harmonise well with the built and natural environments. We lean towards the light and uplifting in developing and interior environment, unlike the dark stereotype sometimes associated with government buildings. We believe this offers significant benefits for both employees and visitors.
Enegy efficiency is an important element in the design of government buildings, and is an important part of Insite's sustainable building design offering. Saving energy offers benefits in terms of resource conservation and bottom line savings. Our designers build energy efficiency into our building designs from both an energy conservation perspective as well as the specification of high efficiency heating and cooling systems.
Insite Architects has always been an active non-profit donor to the local community. We have done a number of subsidise work for our community; from kitchen fitout to major structural alteration, we will do all we can to help. The construction for Alphington Community House at Alphington and Olypic Adult Education Centre at West Heidelberg has just started. Insite Architects is excited and can not wait to see the joy on the users face.
Insite Architects is currently involved in a number of pavilion refurbishments and upgrades for the City of Boroondara. The construction stage for the pavilion at Victoria Park North was recently completed. This involved the design, documentation, tendering and administration of refurbished changeroom facilities and wet areas. Insite Architects are also currently tendering refurbishment works for Markham Reserve which was also a wet areas and changerooms upgrade for the pavilion. Works have also commenced on the design of a new fitout for the existing Southern pavilion at Victoria Park South. This pavilion is a historical pavilion which is being converted into the social facilities for the clubs.
