Melbourne Square Early School

This centre was designed and built as part of the multi-storey Melbourne Square development in Melbourne’s CBD. The play yard was an inspired design to have a feeling of outdoors when entirely undercover. The unique internal and external lighting was designed to create interest and maximise control due to the minimal natural daylight in some areas. Acoustic treatments were critical to minimise sound due to the heavy use of concrete in high rise building constructions. Natural and natural-look materials were used to soften the space.
